2010 – New English Ballet Theatre established

Down Arrow

New English Ballet Theatre was launched in 2010. The brainchild of Karen Pilkington-Miksa, who remains its artistic director, the company is mainly a vehicle for dancers, choreographers, designers and musicians on the threshold of their careers, but also has support on all levels from those more established in the art form. Collaboration is an important motivation for the company. Selected performers and others come together each year for a series of London performances of a range of newly created works, as well as touring for a few weeks across the country.
