Tim Goodchild (19??-). British stage designer
Tim Goodchild, the prolific award-winning stage designer who has been working in British theatre on plays, operas and musicals since the 1960s, has also created sets and costumes for several important dance productions. These include Gillian Lynne’s A Simple Man, based on the life of the painter L S Lowry and originally made for a BBC television production with Northern Ballet Theatre, which won Goodchild a 1987 BAFTA Award.
