Terry Bartlett (1957?-). British stage designer and teacher
Born in Sussex, Terry Bartlett trained at Wimbledon School of Art and The Slade School of Fine Art, and worked as design assistant to Nicholas Georgiadis and Philip Prowse. Bartlett collaborated regularly with choreographer David Bintley during the 1980s, where his productions included Night Moves, The Swan of Tuonela, Choros, The Snow Queen and Allegri Diversi for Sadler’s Wells (now Birmingham) Royal Ballet, and Consort Lessons, The Sons of Horus, The Trials of Prometheus and The Spirit of the Fugue for The Royal Ballet. Bartlett also designed a two-act production of Carmen for Scottish Ballet choreographed by Peter Darrell in 1985. He has worked as a guest lecturer at several London colleges.
