Suzanne Musitz. Australian dancer and director

Suzanne Musitz danced with Western Theatre Ballet and was a founder member of The Australian Ballet in 1962. In 1969, encouraged by Peggy van Praagh, Musitz founded a small group known originally as Ballet in a Nutshell, and then as the Sydney Dance Company (NSW). Musitz led the company for a few years, which became Sydney Dance Company in 1979.
