Rupert Pennefather (1981-). British dancer

Rupert Pennefather was born in Maidenhead in 1981. He trained at The Royal Ballet School and the Arts Educational School and took private lessons with Julie Rose. He joined The Royal Ballet in 1999, where he danced many leading male roles. He became a soloist in 2006 and principal in 2008. In 2009 he created a role in Alastair Marriott’s Sensorium. He left The Royal Ballet in 2015.
