Bob Crowley (1952–). Irish theatre designer

Irish-born Bob Crowley trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has worked extensively in the UK and internationally in theatre, opera, film, dance and musicals, including 20 productions at the National Theatre. In dance, he redesigned Kenneth MacMillan’s three-act Anastasia for The Royal Ballet in 1996 and has collaborated with choreographer Christopher Wheeldon on Pavane pour une infante défunte, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Winter’s Tale, Strapless, Like Water for Chocolate and the musical An American in Paris.
